Sailing
Come sail the seven seas with us! Or at least, the high seas of Blue Mesa. You’ll enjoy riding the waves and exploring the coves and corners of Blue Mesa in a whole new way. Participants can sit back and enjoy the ride or learn about wind patterns and rigging from our American Sailing Association certified guide from Sail Western Colorado. Participants need to be comfortable around water and have basic swimming skills.
Sailing has an additional footwear requirement. You must have shoes with clear or white soles, or go barefoot.
- Shoes with dark soles will not be allowed on the boat.
- Many tennis shoes have white or clear soles.
- Crocs are great!
- Barefoot is okay!
- Please remember a towel and swimsuit, for when it’s warm out it’s great to jump in the water and swim.
